Our cable locator/cable finder enables the precise detection and localization of power lines, wooden beams, metals, and other objects such as water-filled plastic pipes in walls, floors, and ceilings. Thanks to its versatility, it can be used on various surfaces such as wood, wallpaper, plaster, acoustic walls, and painted walls.

The cable locator/cable finder is equipped with a 1.9-inch color LCD display that provides a clear visual representation of the scan results. A signaling system consisting of colored LEDs, audible cues, and directional arrows quickly provides precise information about the proximity and position of the detected object. The LED system displays green for no obstructions, yellow for nearby objects, and red for an obstruction directly beneath the scanner. The cable locator/cable finder has three detection modes: metal detection mode for identifying metallic objects, wood detection mode for locating wooden beams, and current mode for detecting live cables. In metal and power line modes, the device displays the signal strength as a percentage. In wood detection mode, the scanner detects both the exact center and edges of wooden beams, allowing their position and size to be precisely determined.

To further improve accuracy, the sensitivity can be adjusted to three levels, allowing detection to be optimally adapted to the respective conditions. An integrated marking hole allows the drilling location to be marked immediately after detection. The cable locator / cable finder also offers automatic calibration, which can be performed on any wall surface. The menu is available in five languages: Russian, English, Portuguese, Japanese, and Chinese. The automatic shutdown is adjustable and can be varied between 5 and 15 minutes as needed, or can be deactivated completely. The audible signal can also be turned off if desired. For reliable and wireless use, the device is equipped with a powerful lithium-ion battery that can be quickly and easily charged via a USB-C interface.
