The PCE-WSAC 50W wind warning system is primarily used to measure and monitor wind loads on cranes or wind turbines. Furthermore, the wind situation can be measured and analyzed before a wind turbine is commissioned. The PCE-WSAC 50W wind warning system is equipped with alarm relays for a pre-alarm and main alarm.

The wind warning system's wide measuring range of up to 50 m/s allows even stormy gusts to be monitored. The wind warning system's wireless range is up to 750 m in open fields using the 2.4 GHz frequency band. When the PCE-WSAC 50W wind warning system's display is installed indoors, a range of up to 60 m to the wind sensor can be achieved. The wind warning system's integrated 4 ... 20 mA analog output allows the measurement data to be transmitted to other control systems for evaluation.
