The paint thickness tester is used for the quick and precise detection of layer thicknesses on metals. In comparison to many other thickness tester, this paint thickness tester does not have to differentiate between ferrous and non-ferrous metal. With the small and compact design of the paint thickness tester, one-hand operation is possible. Despite its small size, the paint thickness tester has a measuring range of 1500 µm and an accuracy of ± (3% + 1 µm).
The measured values displayed can be output in µm, mm and in mils on the paint thickness tester. In addition to measuring the layer thickness, the paint thickness tester can determine the smallest, the largest and also the mean value from a series of different measurements. The paint thickness tester also has an automatic switch-off function.
